These terms govern your use of Lexo, an iOS app published by Lexo. By using the app you agree to these terms together with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to all apps distributed through the App Store.

Subscription

Lexo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, available on a monthly or annual basis. The annual subscription includes a free trial as described on the in-app paywall.

• Billing. Apple bills your Apple ID. Lexo never sees your payment information.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. The renewal price is the same as the introductory price unless Apple notifies you otherwise.
• Free trial. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is billed at the regular price.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device, or from the Manage Subscription link in Lexo's settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Lexo handles your data as described in our Privacy Policy. In short: words and translations you save stay on your device; text you ask Lexo to translate is forwarded to our translation server and then to DeepL; subscription state is managed via RevenueCat. The Privacy Policy is the authoritative source.

Acceptable use

Use Lexo for personal language learning. Don't use it to abuse third-party services Lexo depends on (Apple, DeepL, Cloudflare, RevenueCat) — for example, by attempting to bypass quota limits, reverse-engineering the app's backend authentication, or sending content that violates DeepL's terms.

Intellectual property

Lexo's name, logo, code, and design are owned by Lexo. Content you create (words you save, lists you build) remains yours.

Warranty and liability

Lexo is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law in your country.

Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of Lexo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
